Are You Your Own Customer?

My wife and I made some Christmas cookies for Angela, the dynamo who delivers our mail.

We try not to take her great service for granted. However, she did surprise us last week.

Here was a small white envelope. No return address. There was a local postmark on the Christmas stamp.

Angela mailed us a thank-you note. A note delivered personally.

It wasn’t just that she took time and money to appreciate us. She was making more work for herself.

My mind flashed back to all the times I’ve asked a waiter or waitress what they like on the menu most.
No, not the featured item that they’re pushed to sell. What would they like to eat?

“Uh, I don’t really like Chinese food…”

By contrast, here’s someone showing faith in the business she represents. It’s one thing to tell the world about your product or service. It’s a far better plan to SHOW that you use and appreciate what you’re touting.
